In ancient communities, when someone fell ill, the shaman would inquire, “When did you give up dancing?” I view dance as a profound mode of moving meditation, a conduit to our authentic selves, to others, and to the cosmos at large. Through dance, our bodies articulate thoughts and emotions, forging connections with the universe. To me, psychedelic music serves as the perfect soundtrack to unlock the doors of perception. I’ve been on this journey since I was 20, stationed in front of the console, embarking on festival and party excursions across Europe. I’ve twirled hula hoops, painted vivid pictures on both canvas and bodies, and fallen in love with the kaleidoscope of shapes, colors, sounds, and smiles. Now, finding myself on the other side, I consider it a privilege and a profound honor. Flow’s DJ career commenced in 2012. Her musical preferences gravitate toward underground sounds, with occasional forays into dark progressive. Her sets exude high-energy vibes, radiate positivity, groove irresistibly, and delve deep into the psychedelic realm. In 2014, she joined the Merkaba crew, spearheading the Taurus Connection Festival for a remarkable six-year run. Then, in 2017, she became a pivotal member of Illusion, the Art of Party, an avant-garde event in Italy that fuses psychedelic progressive, psychedelic techno, and dark progressive with artistry. Her musical journey has led her to grace the stages of numerous Italian and international festivals, including the Moon Mountain Festival in Thailand, Curlie’s Xmas in Goa, the Revision Festival in Greece, the 7 Chakras Festival, the Blackmoon Festival, and the Wao Festival in Italy. –
