Odd Skool is an attempt to escape the standards, driven by a desire for novelty and by the fascination of being surprised on the dance floor. At the same time, it doesn’t want to become something merely contemplative, it still wants to make your hips or your neck move.
It started out as an album, but in the end I realized these four tracks felt right living together as an EP.
