Hi! I’m Tadhg Kelly, creator of the Sionnach Psytrance project. I come from the West of Ireland and am now based in Switzerland.

I grew up on a wide variety of music, with Funk, Soul, Rock, Pop and Jazz becoming my main diet. I learned some piano as a kid, started playing guitar and drums in bands in my teens, and then found electronic music production as I was entering university to train as a sound engineer. Around this time I came into contact with Psytrance music at parties and festivals in Ireland, becoming instantly hooked on it! Within the next few years I was touring as a drummer in several bands, and released a Psytrance album, several EPs and many tracks while also touring internationally. During and after the covid years I became a professional mixing and mastering engineer.

The Sionnach project focuses on creating funky grooves and high energy sounds, fusing Full-on, Hitech and Forest together, along with other genres of music like Bass, Neuro and Funk, for a complex blend of uplifting yet melancholic emotions.
